Terrence Howard, loud and clear on colon cancer: “Make sure your parents get screened, and that you get screened”

Actor Terrence Howard (b. 1969), a former Academy Award nominee whose latest screen credits include “Dead Man Down” (2013) co-starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace, “House of Bodies” (2914) with Peter Fonda, and “Cardboard Boxer” (2016), delivers a moving and personal message about his Mom and the importance to get screened for colon cancer.

“My Mom was a woman of incredible strength. While I hate that I’ve lost her, she would love to know that her death—her battle with colon cancer—is able to save other lives,” the actor says here in a message as a spokesman for the Colon Cancer Alliance.
